Organisation internationale de la Francophonie

The Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF) is an international organization whose Membership is composed of French-speaking states. Established on March 20, 1970, with the object of promoting the French language and cultural diversity. The OIF flag is all white with the stylized blue letter 'F' (French language). The member nations are symbolized by green and gold stripes at the bottom of a symbol of growth and prosperity. The design of the entire flag consists of elements of unity, diversity and inclusiveness of the Francophone community.
