Flag of Belize

Belize adopted its national flag in 1981 when the country gained independence from Britain. It has a white disc in its center, containing the coat of arms, on a blue background, the blue symbolizes trust and loyalty, as well as Belize's Caribbean Sea and sky. The master ship and mahogany tree represented the country's logging industry; depicted on the white disc are two men holding tools.
