Myanmar's flag (Burma) is made up of three horizontal bands of yellow, green, and red, with a large white five-point star in the center. The yellow band, adopted in 2010, represents solidarity, the green – represents peace and lush greenery, and the red – represents courage and determination. The white represents the country's continuing unity in its ethnically diverse population.
