Nordic Council

Five Nordic nations (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden) make up the Nordic Council. It was established on February 23, 1953, to foster cooperation and integration among its members. The Nordic Council flag is simple: blue with a white cross, like the common heritage and history of the member states. It also represents peace and stability in the region. The flag is used as a symbol of the close collaboration and partnership of the Nordic countries.
