Panuelo is the prime minister of the Federated States of Micronesia at present; Joseph J. Urusemal is its president. Each country has unicameral legislation. They are referred to as "the Congress of Federated States of Micronesia".

Foreign Affairs

Like any other small island nation, the Federated States of Micronesia mostly depends on the United States for foreign and security matters.
