Bangladesh was granted independence from Pakistan in 1972, where upon it adopted the national flag, the current national flag. Student Zanier Rahman designed a logo featuring a green background with a red disc at the center, where the green color represents the lush green landscape of Bangladesh, particularly the agriculture industry.
