Flag of Mongolia

The national flag is a horizontal tricolor consisting of three vertical bands - red at the hoist side, blue in the center, and red at the fly side. Its center includes a yellow reproduction of the symbol Soyombo, a traditional Mongolian symbol for fire, sun, moon, earth, water, and yin-yang. The blue stands for nature and the two red stripes stand for progress and prosperity.
