Flag of Mongolia
Three vertical bands—red at the hoist side, blue in the middle, and red at the fly side—make up the horizontal tricolor that is the national banner. At its heart is a yellow rendition of the ancient Mongolian symbol for yin-yang, earth, water, fire, moon, and sun. The two red stripes signify development and wealth; the blue stands for the environment.
