Flag of Kuwait
Red, white, and green go from top to bottom on the Kuwaiti flag. Its focal point is a black trapezium with Arabic calligraphy. Fertile land, hope for the future – a green stripe. As well, the white represents peace and the purity of Islam, Kuwait's official religion. The bloodshed in previous battles is red, and the courage to battle for one's country.
